Lucy Barrett
Lucy Barrett is a current strength and conditioning coach with over five years of experience working with a wide variety of high school, collegiate and professional athletes. Her work brings a unique perspective, having collaborated closely with physical therapists and athletic trainers to create sport specific programs that prioritize durability for athletes. As a former collegiate basketball player herself, Lucy brings firsthand knowledge of what it takes to succeed at the next level. She is particularly passionate about being a positive role model on and off the court, inspiring female athletes to reach their full potential through structured training, resilience-building, and a supportive, empowering environment.

A Brockton, MA native, Alex attended Tabor Academy before playing four years at Boston University. A two-time team captain, she led NCAA Division I in three-point percentage during the 2022–2023 season and finished top six in scoring in BU women’s basketball history. She recently graduated with a degree in Education and Human Development, and is excited to step into a Director role this summer—drawn to Hardwood Hustle as the kind of supportive, high-energy, development-focused environment she would’ve loved as a kid—where she can help athletes grow their confidence, leadership, and love for the game.
