Hardwood Hustle is excited to introduce our winter tournament experience: a fast-paced 3v3 event that blends high-energy basketball with intentional mental health and mindset work.
Players register individually and show up ready to compete alongside and against fellow Hustlers. Teams are formed the day of the event, creating a fun, inclusive environment where athletes can meet new teammates, challenge themselves, and grow both on and off the court.
There will be 2 divisions: Junior: 5th-7th grade | Senior: 8th-9th grade

Mindset and Mental Health
At Hardwood Hustle, we take a whole-athlete approach to development, believing that meaningful growth includes both mental strength and physical performance.
During the event, athletes will participate in an interactive, guided mindset session led by Katie Zenevitch-Reyes. The key theme will be: Navigating pressure and mistakes

Meet Katie Zenevitch-Reyes
Katie will be leading the mental health component of our Mind Over Hustle 3v3 Tournament, bringing together her background in psychology, education, and elite athletics. She previously led a powerful mental skills session during our November Boot Camp, where athletes engaged in conversations around confidence, mindset, and resilience. We are incredibly excited to have Katie guiding this aspect of the event, helping our players develop as competitors and individuals both on and off the court.

Katie Zenevitch-Reyes started her basketball career at Central Catholic High School where she holds the schools all time rebounding and scoring records. She continued her career playing Division I College Basketball at Boston College, serving as a two year captain. She finished her career with an impressive 1,164 points.
Katie received her bachelor's degree in elementary education with a minor in psychology. After graduating, she taught English for one year at an International School in Budapest, Hungary. She then received her masters degree in early childhood development from Merrimack College. As an educator and coach, Katie has worked with children across multiple grade levels to help foster their growth to become the best versions of themselves. She has been a foundational part of Hardwood Hustle for the last 2 years, bringing energy, leadership, and purpose to our gym and our players.
